BioSysteM had the chance to participate in the Bavarian Evening of the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting and present its work to about 600 top researchers from around the world. The event was hosted by the Free State of Bavaria. BioSysteM was invited alongside the other five new Bavarian Clusters of Excellence.
Strong interest in the BioSysteM booth
The BioSysteM booth highlighted the diversity and interdisciplinarity within the cluster:
Postdoctoral researcher Lennart J.K. Weiß facilitated a VR experience of DNA origami, the central technology that allows us to build complex nanostructures from DNA. Postdoctoral researcher Amy Clare led a Responsibility Check-in that gave visitors a taste of what it means to think about responsibility in science and technology.
The evening was characterized by strong interest in the cluster, inspiring conversations, and new connections.
