On the two-day retreat, we will launch the Graduate Program and set expectations together. Participants will have the chance to get to know one another, meet the supporting team, and explore key topics such as good scientific practice.
The event is primarily geared towards doctoral researchers within the cluster. Doctoral researchers working on a related topic but not directly affiliated with the cluster are welcome to register and participate depending on availability.
Registration is open until May 24, 2026.
Program
After a welcome by cluster spokeperson Prof. Friedrich Simmel,
participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their
doctoral research projects.
Presentations
and workshops by the supporting team provide important information
about the infrastructure of the cluster. We also want to hear and
discuss what you want and expect from our Graduate Program.
A venture talk by postdoc and founder Philipp Harder and a session on science and society will allow us to reflect on opportunities and
impact beyond the lab. In various networking activities you can connect more closely with the cluster and your fellow doctoral
researchers.
